Our school is excited to invite students in Pre-K through 5th grade to participate in a special Birthday Card Contest celebrating 250 Years of America!
This is a fun opportunity for students to express creativity while reflecting on what makes our country meaningful to them.
π Contest Ideas:
Students may choose to:
- Draw American symbols (flags, fireworks, eagles, landmarks)
- Write a short message or poem about why America is special
- Create a collage using pictures or craft materials
- Highlight a favorite place, tradition, or holiday
- Show what freedom, kindness, or community means to them
- Who: Pre-K through 5th Grade Students
- Theme: What you love about America
- Deadline: May 14
- Prizes: Cash awards for top 2 entries at each grade level
- Recognition: Winning cards will be displayed at the Unionville Square July 4th Celebration
- Be creative and original
- Use any materials (crayons, markers, paint, etc.)
- Include student name and grade on the back
- Turn into Mrs. Rebecca Williams or Mrs. Tammy Dooley in the elementary.
