SOAR Program Updates for the 2024-2025 School Year

At Putnam County R-I School District, we’re committed to providing high-quality care and support for our students and families. We’re excited to share important updates about our SOAR Before/After School Program, effective August 12, 2024.

Updated Program Hours

To better align with staff availability and enhance the program's overall quality, our new operating hours will be:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Enrollment Requirement

All students participating in the SOAR program must be officially enrolled. Please ensure your child is registered to secure their spot.

Fee Structure

The updated fee structure for the 2024-2025 school year is outlined below:

• Weekly Fee:

  • Full-Price Lunch: $30 per week for the 161 school days. This fee applies regardless of attendance. Payments are due every Friday. No reimbursements will be provided for snow days.
  • Free/Reduced Price Lunch: $20 per week for the 161 school days. This fee applies regardless of attendance. Payments are due every Friday. No reimbursements will be provided for snow days.

• Professional Development Days:

  • $25 per day for full-day attendance.

Payment Policy

• Students will not be permitted to attend if their balance is two weeks past due.
• Students with unpaid balances from previous years will need to pay those balances in full before attending the program.
