Parade Route UpdateΒ
Out of an abundance of caution and coordination with local officials regarding nearby buildings on the Unionville Square, we have planned two possible parade routes for this yearβs celebration.
Primary Route:
The parade will begin in the High School parking lot, traveling north on 20th Street, then west on Garfield Street. From there, the parade will head north on 22nd Street to Main Street, turning east toward the Square. The parade will make a right turn to circle around the Square, continue straight on 16th Street, turn west on Washington, south on 18th Street, and west on Oak Street, disbanding just west of the Rural Health Clinic.
Alternate Route (if the Square is closed):
The parade will begin in the High School parking lot, travel north on 20th Street, then west on Garfield Street. It will continue north on 22nd Street to Main Street (Hwy 136), then turn west on Main. From there, the route turns south on 18th Street, east on Grant Street (along the south side of the Square), then north around the Square. The parade will continue west on Main Street (Hwy 136), north on 18th Street, and west on Oak Street, again disbanding west of the Rural Health Clinic.
We appreciate everyoneβs flexibility and understanding as we ensure a safe and fun parade experience for our students, staff, and community.Β
