Important Meal Service Update for PCR-I Families

Dear Putnam County R-I Families,
We wanted to address a common question we’ve been receiving regarding meal charges for students previously enrolled in the free or reduced meal program. If you have noticed new charges for meals, it may be due to a missed application renewal.
Each year, families must complete and resubmit the application for free or reduced meals, which is included in the back-to-school packet provided during the first week. For the 2024-2025 school year, these applications were due by October 3, 2024. If you missed this deadline and haven’t submitted a new application, your student’s meal account has likely defaulted to full-price status.
If you still need to submit a form, it’s not too late! Forms are available for pickup from Mrs. Amy Webb, our Food Service Secretary, located in the PCHS office. She can also be reached by email at awebb@putnamcountyr1.net or by phone at 660-947-3361, ext. 307, to answer any questions you may have.
