Save the Date: Grandparents & Special Friends Day 👵👴

We’re excited to welcome grandparents and special friends to Putnam County Elementary’s Grandparents’ & Special Friends Day Open House on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 1:45–2:30 PM. 💙
📝 A digital form has been posted on ParentSquare for families to complete.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ No formal program in the gym this year—just a relaxed Open House.
✅ Guests may arrive between 1:45–2:15 PM. Please do not arrive before 1:30.
✅ Classroom visits with special activities will be available. Teachers will have fun ways for guests to engage with students.
✅ For younger students (PreK & Kindergarten), we suggest saving their rooms for last to avoid confusion if guests step out.
✅ After visiting classrooms, gather your students and head to the elementary gym for photo booths 📸 and cookies 🍪.
🚗 Parking Help: PC Staff will assist with parking and shuttle rides from the lots to the building. Please note—no parking in front of the superintendent’s or elementary entrances. Watch for cones marking “No Parking” zones.
👋 Heading Home Early?
Students may leave with grandparents/special friends from 2:15–2:30 if:
• Parents complete the ParentSquare permission slip by Wednesday, August 27.
• Guests sign students out with classroom teachers.
