At Putnam County R-I Middle School, we take pride in recognizing students who exemplify positive character traits, outstanding behavior, and leadership. On Monday, November 18, 2024, Mr. Jamie Tipton, PCMS Principal, led the awards assembly in the PCMS Auditorium to celebrate our November 2024 Character Education winners. These students inspire their peers and embody the values we hold dear at PCR-1.
Good Attitude Winners
Students who earned the
Good Attitude Award have shown a great attitude in the classroom and among their peers. Their positive demeanor makes a lasting impact on our school culture. Each winner received two 10-point bonus coupons and a certificate.

The character education word of the month was
citizenship. These students were recognized for their commitment to being responsible, respectful, and active members of our school community. Each winner received a t-shirt from Hy-Vee, a pizza lunch, and a certificate.

November 2024 Rotary Student of the Month for his good attitude, service, and leadership. He was presented this honor by Mr. Tom Keedy from the Unionville Rotary Club.

October 2024 Rotary Student of the Month during the assembly.
